ShockWare offers web-hosting accounts that allow you or your business, to own a web address or "domain name" (eg: www.yourname.com or www.yourname.ca). We can also handle domain name transfers on your behalf, if you currently own a domain name. Once your domain name is active worldwide, we can set up an email account addressed to your domain, such as webmaster@yourname.com. All e-mail addressed to your domain will then be forwarded to your real e-mail address. Multiple alias accounts can be forwarded to differing email addresses, if necessary. With your web hosting account, you can access your site through a password. As such, you can create and maintain your web pages on your own computer and upload files to your website at your leisure via File Transport Protocol (FTP). Or as many of our clients prefer, we can maintain your site on your behalf.
